Executive Windows & Construction are an installations and construction company based in Waterlooville, Hampshire. Founded in 1988 in Petersfield, Hampshire, we specialise in quality installations of windows, doors, roofs, orangeries and conservatories. Our construction division was formed in 2019 and takes on a range of new build, extension and loft conversion projects. We also have an extensive trade status reaching all the way back to 1988; offering not only windows, doors, roofs and lanterns, but cut glass and sealed units manufactured to BS EN 1279 standards in our own factory.


TIMELINE

1988

Incorporation

Freshopen Limited is founded by David Parratt (now Managing Director) in Petersfield, Hampshire; trading under the familiar name of ‘Executive Windows’. The Executive Windows’ doors are now open to retail and trade.
1989

Petersfield Showroom Opens

Executive Windows’ first showroom opens up to the public in Lavant Street, Petersfield. Showing customers (both retail and trade) the latest of Executive’s products.
1990

Conservatories & Orangeries

Another expansion for Executive Windows. This time, into the realm of conservatories and orangeries. More and more people are wanting a more cost-effective alternative to a full-blown extension; and conservatories and orangeries are the answer. The team of Executive Windows & Conservatories obviously growing to compensate this new range of products.
1992

Composite Doors

Executive Windows starts its first of many expansions into a new range of products: doors. Brand new, personalised front doors are now on the menu for Executive Windows & Doors.
1993

Farlington Factory & Showroom Opens

A major new step comes to Executive Windows as they begin fabricating and manufacturing their own PVCu windows and doors in their newly furnished factory and showroom on Fitzherbert Road in Farlington, Portsmouth.
1997

BS EN 1279 Accreditation

This year marks the year that our hand-crafted sealed units gain the BS EN 1279 accreditation. Something our sealed units still hold to this day!
2004

Becoming an UltraInstaller

Executive Windows & Conservatories, having already stocked up on a few years of experience with Ultraframe’s products, becomes an official Ultra-Installer. Solid roofs become more of a focus as people aim to replace their old polycarbonate or glass conservatory roofs.
2002

FENSA Registered Company

New regulations come into play in the United Kingdom. Executive Windows & Conservatories become FENSA registered to ensure we are able to give our customers a quality installation without the hassle of applying for building regulations.
2006

Liniar Approved PVCu Fabricator

In our own factory in Portsmouth, Executive become an official Liniar fabricator of Liniar’s PVCu products: including flush-sash windows and bi-folding doors.
2013

Sales Director Appointed

Jason Green, having worked with the company since its dawning, is appointed Sales Director of Executive Windows & Conservatories.
2019

Construction Division Created

Even in amongst the midst of COVID-19 and being paused a number of times due to lockdowns, Executive Windows expands into Executive Windows & Construction. 2021

Relocation & Foward Thinking

The ever changing home improvement industry now heads into a worldwide focus on energy saving to combat global warming. Executive are taking these changes seriously, therefore leading by example, we relocated to a brand new distribution unit, itself solar powered and one of the first areas commercial developments to be A-rated. This in conjunction with our new manufacturing plant for argon sealed units and triple glazing. Our construction projects wherever possible focus towards utilising renewable energy, with all of our workforce practising recycling of general waste. Any old PVCu products and broken glass or sealed units are fully recycled.
2022..

What Next?..

Freshopen Limited (T/A Executive Windows & Construction) has come a long way since it’s humble beginnings in 1988. An accreditation not many other installation and construction companies can make.
